  • Notes: Among representatives of the Family Galaxauraceae a large number of the collected specimens can easily be identified as Galaxaura rugosa. Similar morphologies can, nevertheless, be observed for Tricleocarpa sp., Galaxaura oblongata and even Galaxaura rugosa typically ”naked” gametophytes
    specimens. Further confusing proper identification can also be encountered for Dichotomaria obtusata.
